At Elefantes & Gaviotas, we believe that planning a wedding abroad should feel just as special as the celebration itself.
We are a destination wedding planning team based in Spain, creating thoughtful, elegant and personal celebrations for couples travelling from the US and around the world.
From the first conversation to the wedding day, we take care of the entire planning process, helping our couples navigate every decision, find the right people and bring all the different elements together.
We work closely with each couple to understand what matters to them, their ideas, their priorities and the kind of atmosphere they want to create. Every wedding is different, and we believe the planning process should reflect that.
Our work takes us across Spain and Italy, two countries we love for their landscapes, architecture, food, culture and extraordinary settings for celebrations.
Above all, we want our couples to feel supported, involved and at ease throughout the process, knowing that every detail is being taken care of by a team that genuinely cares about their wedding.
MEET NEREA BUCETA FOURNDER & LEAD WEDDING PLANNER
I'm Nerea, the founder of Elefantes & Gaviotas and the person behind every wedding we take on.I started Elefantes & Gaviotas with the idea of creating celebrations that feel personal, considered and meaningful, where every detail has a reason and everything comes together naturally.I love the process of getting to know each couple, discovering what they have in mind and turning those ideas into a celebration that feels genuinely theirs.My role goes far beyond organising suppliers and keeping everything on schedule. I'm involved in the decisions that shape each wedding, from the initial conversations and venue search to the design, planning and coordination of the celebration itself.Being closely involved in every project is important to me. I want our couples to know who they are working with, feel comfortable asking questions and have someone they can rely on throughout the entire journey.Based in Galicia, I work across Spain and Italy, bringing together local knowledge, carefully selected suppliers and a personal approach to every celebration.

Our couples always know who is leading their wedding, while having the support of experienced professionals throughout the process.
